The lunar base resembled a spiderweb spun across space. Lanpeach felt a slight sense of awe as Lanpeach descended from space. It was the kind of scene occasionally seen in sci-fi movies. The effort required to build such a city must have been unimaginable.
“Well, it’s going to be destroyed anyway. All things are impermanent; as per the law of rise and fall, this lunar base is confiscated.” (Lanpeach)
The white angel —or rather, the minor villain who resembled a fluffy white ball— descended toward the base like a Kesaran Pasaran** said to bring happiness. In truth, he spreads misfortune, so perhaps he should be called a Kesalanpeach Villain.
“It seems the interceptors have started their attack, Pla-san.” (Mira)
Mira glanced at the lunar surface with a bored expression and snorted. Intense attacks began emanating from the lunar base as she said. Bullets and magic fired off to fill the space around them, explosions erupted nearby, and projectiles whizzed past.
Anti-aircraft guns roared to life, missiles shot out trailing smoke, beams of light streaked across the sky, and soldiers clad in demonic armor deployed.
“It’s about time you all scatter. Come on, off you go. It’s work time now.” (Lanpeach)
“Alright then, we’re off~” (Mimi)
“Kyuu, time to wreck some stuff-usa.”
“We’ll show you the power of level 10-usa yo.”
The rabbits, clad in spirit armor and armed with gatling cannons, twitched their noses as they scattered. Though their fluffy appearance was cute, their power was anything but.
“Attack~” (Mimi)
The rabbits darted toward the lunar surface with thrusters engaged, moving at a speed far beyond what they previously displayed. This was due to Lanpeach’s increased level.
His current status was as follows:

With these skills, his build was essentially complete. The Base Defense Knowledge skill was now at level 10, making the rabbits the strongest they can be.
They skillfully dodged incoming bullets with precise thruster control, narrowly avoiding them. Missiles were shot down with gatling cannons, beams were neutralized with chaff, and magic attacks were absorbed by their spirit barriers.
“These Artificial Spirits dare to attack this lunar base? What reckless creatures!”
“The demons will be wiped out~ Surrender now while you can~” (Mimi)
Soldiers in demonic armor closed the gap while firing their guns, their faces twisted in anger. Mimi and the other rabbits remained calm and fearless despite their military-grade equipment, which steadily chipped away at the rabbits’ spirit barriers.
“Let’s do this~ Everyone, activate the Minor Villain System~” (Mimi)
“Roger that-usa!”
“Minor Villain System, standing by!”
“Time to show them Boss’s minor villain power-usa!”
[Minor Villain System Activated!]
“We agreed to call it the Lanpeach System!” (Lanpeach)
The rabbits’ bodies began to shimmer with a silver light, leaving afterimages as they dashed through the air. Their speed overwhelmed the demon soldiers, who couldn’t keep up and fired futilely into the empty space where the rabbits had been.
“W-What’s with this speed?!”
“These things are completely different from before!”
“We can’t hit them—ugh, noooo!”
The demon soldiers screamed as they were overwhelmed, unable to match the rabbits’ movements. However, the enemy’s numbers far exceeded those of the rabbits, and reinforcements kept pouring out of the base no matter how many were defeated.
“Keep pushing forward~ We’ll carve a path with our new gear!” (Mimi)
Mimi raised her hand, pulling a massive carrot—or rather, a carrot-shaped beam cannon—from her Dimension Pouch.
“This is the latest weapon, the Carrot Cannon! Let’s cut through them all at once~” (Mimi)
The new weapon was called the Carrot Cannon. Though Mimi was smaller than the carrot, she gripped the trigger and charged forward. Once the cannon’s barrel began to shine like the sun, it unleashed a massive beam of light that tore through space.
Stars exploded into bursts of light, flashing brilliantly before fading away.
“Take that~” (Mimi)
Mimi used the cannon’s exhaust particles as propulsion to shoot forward like a rocket. Empowered further by the Minor Villain System, she moved like a streaking meteor, skillfully navigating enemy movements and obliterating them with beams.
“This rabbit… What kind of weapon is that?!”
The demon soldiers attempted to shield themselves, but their defenses, as fragile as wafer-thin paper, were easily pierced. The rabbits cheered wildly as the path to the surface was cleared.
“That’s the magic of carrots-usa!”
“Kyuu~ Overusing it will make me too full, though~.”
“Let’s charge forward in one go-usa!”
The rabbits’ spectacular feats left Mira puffing out her chest with pride, though she went a bit overboard and tumbled backwards. Still, she recovered as if nothing happened, continuing to speak with an air of nonchalance.
“Fufufufu, the Carrot Cannon I gave Mimi is top-tier equipment. However, it’s so powerful that it has a side effect: she’ll feel drowsy for about a month.” (Mira)
“Yeah, that’s less a side effect and more a perfect excuse for Mimi to slack off.” (Lanpeach)
That’s not a side effect at all. For Mimi, it’s a reward.
“Full power~ The side-effects are going to be rough because I am going full power~ I’ll have to sleep it off later~” (Mimi)
Laughing gleefully, the meteoric rabbit defeated enemies as she approached the lunar surface. There was no intention of holding back, the trigger held down continuously. Perhaps a special bed should be made just for Mimi later.
Following the path Mimi had cleared, we landed on the lunar surface, smiling wryly as we descended.

“Don’t let the enemy advance any further! Defend! Build a wall, deploy the barricades!”
The moon base was teeming with more enemies. Heavily armored large-scale mobile weapons, countless traps and turrets for fortress defense, and drones. The formidable lineup was undeniably impressive.
It would have been an exhausting battle without Mimi and the rabbits.
“Take that~! We’re passing through here~”
“Kyuu~! Let’s finish this in one go, usa~”
“This is the rabbits’ job~”
The rabbits pressed forward without hesitation despite facing an overwhelming number of enemies. The enemy, responding with counterattacks, refused to back down even an inch. Clearly, the moon base housed a higher level of combat forces.
Mira gave a slight tug on my sleeve as the battle reached a stalemate. When I turned to look, she had her index finger to her lips and was wearing a mischievous smile. She seemed to have thought of something particularly devious.
“This moon base spirals inward like a screw, with facilities spreading across 30 layers. One would need time akin to tackling the hardest dungeon levels in order to conquer it.” (Mira)
“… ‘Seriously? Thirty layers? Are you telling me we have to go through it step by step?’ -is not the reaction you are gonna get from me. You’ve got some kind of shortcut, don’t you?” (Lanpeach)
“Of course. Fufufu, we can’t afford to spend too much time in this dungeon after all.” (Mira)
We exchanged glances and snickered conspiratorially. To an outsider, we would undoubtedly look like scheming villains, plotting something sly with our dubious smiles.
“So, there’s a direct elevator to the lower levels, right? Just hack the security, and it’s game over.” (Lanpeach)
“Kukukuku, the gate security here is manual. It can’t be bypassed remotely.” (Mira)
“…Then how are we supposed to reach the lowest level? Mira-san, you’ve got some brilliant idea that deserves a round of applause, right?” (Lanpeach)
“Of course. Look here. This spot should be the center.” (Mira)
Mira confidently tapped the metallic floor with a triumphant expression. But… What? Why tap the floor?
“Uh… Mira-san, what exactly does that mean? I really don’t want to understand, but this floor…it’s thick. Like, absurdly thick. There’s no point in even describing how thick it is. It’s the ground, for crying out loud!” (Lanpeach)
“If you get your Physical Strengthening to level 10 and complete the final upgrade, I think it’ll work.”
Mira-san said it so nonchalantly that it seemed like she harbored no doubts about her suggestion.
“Well…you’re probably right. Ngh, fine, I’ll use my EXP to do it!” (Lanpeach)
[Acquire Physical Strengthening Level 10] (Lanpeach)
[Physical Strengthening Level 10 acquired. All stats have tripled.]
The stats skyrocketed into the four-digit range. The enhanced physical capabilities now bordered on the impossible for any living being, transcending the laws of nature. Beyond that, it felt like my power had reached its peak. My instincts whispered to me.
“…This feels like the last support from the Space Library. Or is it just my imagination? I feel like I can’t acquire any more skills, no matter how much experience I use.” (Lanpeach)
“Your physical capabilities have reached their zenith, granting maximum resistance. No external entities can now influence or penetrate you. This signifies your independence.” (Mira)
I clenched and unclenched my fists, marveling at the sensation. Mira let out a sly chuckle, amused by my reaction.
“Skill levels can no longer be easily acquired. You can still utilize Libra’s advanced computational abilities, but you’ve now become a complete entity.” (Mira)
I see…so I’ve become independent, huh. Mira, just so you know, my Dimension Pouch contains a full-course banquet!
“Something’s telling me…you’ve got something delicious on you! What is it? Spill it right now!” (Mira)
Mira’s expression shifted as she shook me eagerly. It wasn’t particularly helpful, but I understand now.
“Alright, then. I guess I’ll just destroy the floor to get through, huh?” (Lanpeach)
Shaking off Mira’s grip, I lightly tapped the floor with my foot. The metallic surface caved in dramatically despite the gentle motion, folding back and creating a massive hole with a thunderous roar.
“Whoa… This power is way beyond my expectations.” (Lanpeach)
“Hey! I wasn’t done talking! Wait a minute!” (Mira)
Marveling at his own handiwork despite himself, the minor villain proceeded deeper, taking a forbidden shortcut.
