Botis. One of Solomon’s 72 demons, known for the ability to see the past, present, and future. That explained the capability for foresight.
The concept of creating worlds was beyond clear comprehension, but she probably has a power within that vein.
Confident in her abilities, Botis stared down at Lanpeach with a smug smile. Her arrogant attitude exuded an aura of immense presence.
“A Spirit Warrior!? Yet, you haven’t transformed into a beast form… I understand now that you’re far more dangerous than I anticipated. Therefore…you’ll die here.” (Botis)
[The cold wind blows fiercely.]
Botis lightly waved her arm with a simple incantation murmured under her breath. But the wind unleashed carried menacing power. It swept over the grassy field like a gentle breeze, leaving behind icy crystals and transforming the area into a frigid wasteland.
“Tch! Just this much is…” (Lanpeach)
Lanpeach didn’t falter even as the deadly cold wind closed in, and moved in to close the distance…only to suddenly stop, as though crashing into an enormous sponge. His body refused to move.
“This… This is no joke.” (Lanpeach)
The icy wind had such an effect that even Lanpeach’s highly resistant body froze. In a single moment, his entire body turned white, frost forming over him, icicles hanging from his arms, and his frozen joints creaking as he became immobile.
“Fufu, how do you like the taste of my beginner’s magic?” (Botis)
Without even giving time to be astonished at the power, Botis drew closer, grinning mockingly, her face close enough to touch his… Then came an impact to the temple, sending the frozen Lanpeach sprawling to the ground.
Lanpeach’s body scraped against the ground, which had become harder than concrete due to the frost, like being dragged across sandpaper, leaving his skin wounded and pain coursing through him.
“Damn it… I didn’t think I’d take this much damage even with Element Fusion.” (Lanpeach)
However, the force of being blown away broke the frost, allowing Lanpeach to move again. Regaining his footing swiftly, Lanpeach locked eyes with Botis, who was poised mid-kick, revealing a slender and elegant leg clad in striking red high heels. Botis had landed a blow to Lanpeach’s head within an instant.
“Oh my, oh my. I was wary of a genuine spirit warrior, but you’re not as strong as I thought. As the chairman suggested, aiming to become a demon might’ve been the better choice.” (Botis)
“You’re jumping to conclusions too early!” (Lanpeach)
Botis gracefully lowered her leg, adjusting the wrinkles in her skirt with a delicate pinch, as Lanpeach leaned forward and broke into a full sprint.
Lanpeach’s movements were impossibly quick as he entered the supersonic realm, where thoughts raced as time seemed to slow.
“Take this!” (Lanpeach)
Lanpeach closed the distance in the blink of an eye and launched a straight punch.
However, Botis shifted to the left, evading the strike. Anticipating the dodge, Lanpeach followed up with a combination of a left hook and a right straight.
Punches lashed out like a tempest, leaving afterimages, but Botis effortlessly sidestepped each attack, staying just out of reach.
“Isn’t your footwork a little sloppy?” (Botis)
Botis landed a low kick on Lanpeach’s advancing right leg, causing him to stagger, followed by a roundhouse kick to his side, and finishing with an upward spinning kick to the jaw.
“Guh!?”
Lanpeach’s head snapped back as he was launched into the air. Botis, with lips painted in blood-red lipstick, smiled seductively as she watched.
[Let the dance be resplendent.]
Murmuring words of power, Botis flipped her skirt and unleashed a barrage of kicks radiating a crimson aura. Each strike created afterimages as she pummeled Lanpeach’s body relentlessly, leaving him unable even to be blown away.
The unending assault twisted his face in agony.
With a final, crushing blow fueled by the momentum of a spinning kick, Botis sent Lanpeach flying in slow motion…
“Guwaa!”
And crashing to the ground like a defeated character in a fighting game.
“Fufufu, ahahaha! Oh, what is this? You’re not even worth fighting. I don’t understand what we were so afraid of. I’ll use this to suggest eliminating those clowns from the Space Library as well.” (Botis)
Botis laughed triumphantly as she stood over Lanpeach. As for Lanpeach, he suffered a great deal of damage and couldn’t move with just one exchange.
[Kuh, t-this one’s seriously trained. she’re not just relying on her powers.] (Lanpeach)
[Awawa… I thought we’d win easily like always, but she’s strong. Ugh, I have a bad feeling. [Libra Eye]!] (Libra)
Libra analyzed the enemy as pain coursed through Lanpeach, clearly distressed.
[Botis: Level 10]
It was a result he didn’t want to see. A demon at the highest level.
[Level 10… Didn’t the last enemy we faced barely reach level 8? Level 10 is too much. Did I skip an awakening event or something? She is at the same level as the final boss in the game. This Lanpeach difficulty setting is making the future look grim.] (Lanpeach)
Lanpeach could only sense impending doom with an overwhelming boss looming. But Botis needed to be defeated first before thinking ahead.
[Pla-san, quickly defeat Botis. We’re in a dire situation here. Thanks to you being lured away by a beautiful woman, a line of honey traps has formed and they’re attacking us. It’s hopeless… The tables laden with food are beyond saving… sniff sniff.] (Mira)
It seems that Mira and her group have also been overwhelmed. Otherwise, Mira would have never given up on saving the tables of food.
“I’d love to go help out over there, but…the chances of being taken down are too high. This woman is terrifyingly strong despite her appearance.” (Lanpeach)
Lanpeach summoned strength to his arms and unsteadily stood up.
[Telekinesis Saucer]
As soon as he got to his feet, he retrieved plates of magic ore from his Dimension Pouch, spinning them fiercely and hurling them toward Botis. This was a multi-directional guided attack, leveraging telekinesis and advanced computational abilities to control multiple projectiles remotely.
The saucers flew at Botis, some on a direct path, others curving through the air, encircling her for a full-area assault.
Normally, such an attack would at least inflict some damage. The violent spinning of the saucers could tear through flesh and shatter bone. The swarm of viciously rotating magical saucers attacked Botis in a relentless dance of destruction.
Yet, Botis calmly surveyed her surroundings for a moment, showing no signs of panic even as the saucers approached.
She raised her delicate, alabaster fingers with the grace of a dancer, effortlessly catching the first saucer. Then, she lightly dropped it as if picking up a fallen leaf. She plucked the rest from the air one by one while elegantly twirling her arms, letting them fall to the ground.
“Oh my, were you trying to give me some light exercise? But I assure you, my perfectly sculpted figure has not a single ounce of unnecessary fat.” (Botis)
Botis laughed gracefully, clearly believing that Lanpeach’s attack was desperate. She didn’t even bother delivering a finishing blow, instead indulging in her amusement.
It was the demeanor of a powerful individual…but Lanpeach had observed everything.
“You’ve been signaling your movements to yourself, haven’t you? Deciding in advance where to strike, so your past self could react accordingly. Such a demonic cunning method.” (Lanpeach)
“…I see. So your wide-range attack just now was meant to analyze my movements. Fufufu, sly. But even if that’s correct, it changes nothing. Being unable to read more than one second into the future is fatal in a battle like this. And, what can you hope to achieve if you can’t even defend against my weakest magic?” (Botis)
Botis abruptly stopped laughing, her gaze sharpening as she focused on Lanpeach with a hint of caution. Her eyes likely reflected every possible angle of an attack. Lanpeach, whose vision had been heightened, could even see the mirrored images in her eyes.
But that alone wasn’t enough to neutralize her; if he countered her movements, he could easily imagine that she would just take a different approach. Also, he had no means to counter her super strong magic.
—For now. Communicating with Mira had proven invaluable.
Lanpeach took a deep breath and calmly sent out a thought transmission.

[Acquired.]
[Supreme Transcendence: All stats increased fivefold.]
Just as expected, the ultimate skill had been obtained. The immense power surging through his body came with excruciating pain, like a raging torrent flooding every fiber of his being.
The ground beneath Lanpeach sank, a violent storm erupting around him. A crater formed at his feet, and the space itself seemed to groan and fracture as if on the verge of shattering.
Silver particles engulfed his body, wrapping him in radiant light.
“What?! What is this power? Why has your strength surged so suddenly? Were you hiding this all along?” (Botis)
Botis looked at Lanpeach in astonishment while shielding her face from the gale with her arms, her golden hair whipping wildly. Just moments ago, she sensed he was weaker than herself, but now his power was beyond comprehension. A transformation even a demon like her couldn’t fathom.
Lanpeach, now radiating immense power, turned to face the shocked Botis and spoke slowly.
“Botis, surrender. You can’t beat me anymore.” (Lanpeach)
He then delivered a line he always wanted to say. The grin tugging at his lips betrayed his giddy excitement, making him look less imposing than he intended.
