A world of rusted iron. 

The thrown away machines were making hills and turning into mountains, forming a forest where life doesn’t exist. That’s the Dream Island Spirit Ward. 

Lanpeach arrived once again at the Dream Island Spirit Ward a few days after he confirmed that the Insect Toll selling of Chihiro was going well.

[Hey, Soldier, are you going to be earning money here again with electric appliances? You don’t have any money on hand anymore?] (Libra)

Lanpeach stepped from the carpet of snow to the carpet of metal, and Libra wrapped her arms around his shoulders from behind to hug him, and peeked at his face. 

Lanpeach was a bit embarrassed about this silver haired shrine maiden, who has been getting bolder with her touching lately, as he nodded. 

“Yeah, I don’t have any money at hand anymore. I paid for the teleport and used all the money I had at hand for energy packs, so my wallet is empty.” (Lanpeach)

Lanpeach still had around 300,000 Ele remaining, but he had some thoughts in mind and used it all. 

[Using all your money. Are you going Lanpeach or nothing?] (Libra)

The support character was sharp here. This Artificial Spirit is high spec in the weirdest of areas. 

“What happens when you get Lanpeach?” (Lanpeach)

[It comes with a cute Artificial Spirit support~.] (Libra)

The pretty shrine maiden laughed with an ehehe and rubbed her cheeks on his like a kitten. That soft skin and warmth, and the fact that a pretty girl was attached to him, was making him happy and loosened his cheeks. 

He thought for the first time it was great he came to this world and was moved by it. 

This man was moved by paltry events unlike the protagonists. 

The issue is that Lanpeach is the only one who can see Libra, so from the outside, it looks as if he suddenly blushed while walking, his face stretched down, and it would make others think there’s a weirdo here. 

If he were in the Surface District, he would be tased and carried to an asylum. 

But Lanpeach is aware that this is a dangerous dungeon. It didn’t take long for him to make a serious face and switch gears. 

There would be no more pathetic death than getting ambushed and dying while a pretty girl is rubbing her cheeks on yours after all. 

“I was actually planning on earning normally and clearing Dream Island, but that’s not going to happen now. There’s something that bothers me a bit after all.” (Lanpeach)

[Something that bothers you? That person called Guy?] (Libra)

“Yeah, that’s why I thought about earning money again with Ice Candies but didn’t.” (Lanpeach)

He was going up hills here and there while answering with grim eyes. 

The reason is the existence of Guy. 

That man was clearly a transmigrator. He seemed to have knowledge of guides peculiar to a transmigrator. Judging from his way of speaking, there is at least one other transmigrator. 

In that case, there’s a high chance he knows about ways to earn money, hidden items, and methods to get materials. 

If they began around spring, there’s a high chance they have already cleared the tasty events before Lanpeach.

This Dream Island also has a hidden event. It would hurt a lot if they have cleared that. And so, he changed the plan, but…

The shrine maiden was really interested here and pushed her chest behind him with a tight embrace, but he endured despite his happiness. 

(The blatant off sensation. Why is it that he was wandering around a low Explorer Guild even though he is level 5? I would understand if he was searching for Chihiro, but…his equipment was plain. If he is level 5, he should be wearing Spirit Armor, and his appearance should be impressive.) (Lanpeach)

The appearance of Guy was that of equipment from early game. It is possible he is purposely wearing early game equipment to invite carelessness, but this is a world where you die and it is game over. 

(Would he use weak equipment to bait carelessness in a dangerous place like an Explorer Guild? I definitely wouldn’t do that.) (Lanpeach)

In that case, there’s only one answer. 

It means that the story has not progressed even after 1 year. This is great for Lanpeach. The enemies are always strong because of the Lanpeach difficulty, and it is full of events that are coming to kill him after all. 

(Dry was also in initial equipment. It might be harder than expected to get money. The progress gets to around this speed when you act with a safe margin? That helps me out though.) (Lanpeach)

“We will be able to understand the situation a bit better once we clear this dungeon. Let’s test the facts. Libra, we are going to head straight to the entrance, so please support me.” (Lanpeach)

Now that the dungeon is reality, it has changed into a space far bigger; it is incomparable to that of the game. There are a number of unique objects that can serve as landmarks, so he had no choice but to advance as if he can somewhat tell where he is going. 

Lanpeach was pointing at a giant radio tower. It is rusty and beaten up, but it was a pretty distinguishable object even in the game. 

[Fufufu, got it! So the time has finally come for you to rely on me, huh. Libra Navi~!] (Libra)

Libra got all ahead of herself, twirled her shrine maiden clothes, flew off into the sky, and landed on a hill. 

She charged on while cutting through the air and her twin tails were wagging like tails. 

The monsters in the direction Libra was heading to reacted to this with a twitch. 

The Stoven jumped, the Toastons moved restlessly with their short legs, and the Microwadudes readied their spears, and swarmed onto Libra. 

“Haah~, Ultra Libra Drift~, Ultra Libra Out Corner~!” (Libra)

The monsters were crawling out and gathering. Libra drew a curve and rushed on while meandering. But as to whether she can actually evade them, her stats are all 3. 

Her flying speed is pretty fast because she has no mass, but she is not dexterous, so she got circled by enemies pretty quickly. 

Libra was easily attacked by monsters and disappeared. And then, 3 seconds later…

“I am back~!” 

Libra appeared in the sky again and flew off. 

Libra’s resurrection speed is also 3. Moreover, she has told him before ‘I have turned off all sense of pain at times like this, so it is okay’.

“She is so devoted it could bring me to tears.” (Lanpeach)

Lanpeach was stealthily crawling like a roach through the shadows of the scraps. 

He thought about the things he had to reflect on from yesterday and…

“Those guys have the Ally Call skill. It is different from the game in that the use of the skill is not shown in the log, but they must be using it.” (Lanpeach)

He brought out a terribly serious answer. 

He is not senile. This was the answer he thought of after not taking into account the sound of the gunshots at all. 

And so, the best move is to advance without being found by enemies. That was the conclusion of Lanpeach.

But even if the answer is different, the action in itself had no issues. 

The monsters found Libra and attacked her, and would be defeated instantly. 

Lanpeach stealthily advanced from the side. 

He would at times be found by enemies and he would shoot them down, but Libra would fly there afterwards. 

The monsters that gathered after hearing the gunshots would find Libra, would mistakenly assume that the gunshot came from her, and would chase her and defeat her. 

And then, they would be satisfied after defeating her and return to their turf. 

Lanpeach had no need to defeat the extra enemies and managed to advance through the dungeon easily, contrary to yesterday. 

—This was groundbreaking support for Lanpeach. 

Leaving aside explosion magic, normal magic and swordsmanship has almost no sound. The shouts of humans don’t echo that much either. What echoes in the surroundings is gunshots. 

Explorers know this, so they only use guns when they are going to hunt a lot of monsters with a big party.

In other words, guns are powerful, but it is a weapon that is not used in normal explorations. 

Lanpeach didn’t notice that point. That’s because enemies would use guns normally in the game. 

But when the enemies are humans, it is limited to places like fortresses or bases where monsters don’t show up, but there were a lot of situations like that, so he didn’t think there would be such a detailed setting like that. 

Even when the game had such a hidden setting, the enemies didn’t gather when you used a gun. 

And so, it is a secret that the people in the Explorer Guild were questioning ‘why is this guy buying a gun? Is he not solo?’. 

Libra also noticed that Lanpeach had not noticed at all, so she decided to adjust her visibility so only monsters could see her. When there are too many enemies and she wants him to advance, she would fly off as the gunshot rang. 

By the way, she had no intention of telling this to Lanpeach. 

The little devil support loves to have a whole lot of events and amusing things, so she had no intention of telling him as long as he didn’t ask. 

She simply snickered and showed a cute devilish smile. 

This is how she would utilize her special traits as a support in full. Lanpeach wouldn’t notice how the benefits of her were more than he imagined as he advanced smoothly, and after a few hours…

“Alright! We have arrived at the spirit crystal mine!” (Lanpeach)

He arrived at the base of the run-down radio tower and raised his voice in happiness. 

There’s a mountain of scraps in front of him, and there are crystals protruding unnaturally like piled up rocks. 

[Judging from the faint light inside of them, it seems like it is low quality spirit crystals. I don’t think this will fetch that high of a price.] (Libra)

The worth of spirit crystals change depending on the energy inside them. 

A kilogram of low quality spirit crystals is around thousands of Ele. It is cheap. 

“Well, it is a dungeon of the lowest rank after all. But it should still fetch some money with this much.” (Lanpeach)

Lanpeach knows this too, but what’s in front of him is several hundred kilograms. 

“Gotta get some cash before defeating the boss. Can you please help out too, Libra?” (Lanpeach)

[Too bad. I can’t carry anything that’s heavier than chopsticks.] (Libra)

Libra is all 3. She answered without hesitation. 

“Thanks for the expected response. Can’t be helped. I will mine them. It does feel a bit fun when thinking I am gonna be mining money.”

Lanpeach sighed, took out a mattock, swung it down, and broke the rocks. 

He broke one after the other, and threw them into the Dimension Poach. 

That mining sound was satisfying, and his heart was dancing despite everything said. 

It is fun when you think about it as mining wads of cash. 

He has never done this before in real life. He thought this must be how the people in the gold rush era felt. 

He gathered them with a villainous smile. 

Libra watched how Lanpeach was mining, looking bored here. She would poke the scraps, peek at the abandoned vehicles, would find moles and pet their noses. 

She wasn’t showing any sign of helping out. 

A few hours later…

“A-Alright… That’s all.” (Lanpeach)

Lanpeach was covered in sweat and was fatigued to the max, his shoulders going up and down as he mined all the spirit crystals. 

[Are you okay, Soldier? Want to rest for a bit?] (Libra)

“…No, if it is just as I think, I should be able to defeat a boss deeper in. Let’s go, Libra!” (Lanpeach)

[Aye aye, you there, click-click with the flint~.] (Libra)

Lanpeach rejected the worried proposal of Libra to rest by waving his hand, shouldered his gun, and began to walk. 

Libra saw this and moved her hands as if she were a wife hitting flint stones together to see off her husband. 

Lanpeach went through the broken door of the radio tower, and intruded together with Libra.
