TLN: Hey guys, Reigokai here!

Dear lord, I had to wrestle so much with disqus to try and get the comments back, but to no avail. Who would have known exporting the comments from disqus doesn’t work to import them back to disqus. No wonder disqus had such a low rating in the wordpress plugins.

I didn’t expect just changing names would create so much of a headache (mainly just the comments really).

I have reverted to wordpress comments. Not sure if that’s a good idea or not, but time will tell.

At least now we have all the old comments back…at the price of everything that came after disqus…

If you feel any problems with the wordpress commenting, please tell me. I will try to do something about it.

Anyways, enjoy!

—Rewind time to a few minutes ago.

“Heyo my people, good work.”

Lanpeach opened the door violently, crouched a bit like a hoodlum, and looked around with a sharp gaze, and entered with raised shoulders.

Lanpeach is tall and a bit thin with seedy equipment, so he only looked like a lame explorer with those actions no matter how you looked at him.

It wasn’t a good thing at all, but he meshed really well with this Explorer Guild where the lowest of the low explorers gather.

A number of them glanced at Lanpeach, but they looked away soon after and resumed talking, so Lanpeach was internally relieved that he had succeeded.

The hoodlums looked at Lanpeach as a comrade, but the weakling type. They judged that he is lower than even themselves and a useless man that won’t get them any money.

(Makes sense. My body wouldn’t be able to last if there were an event happening at every instance. God must have stopped paying attention to me.) (Lanpeach)

He doesn’t know if this is a reincarnation or a transmigration, but he hasn’t been able to relax since coming to this world. Events have been coming at him one after the other without giving him time to breathe.

A whole ton of events just like a game.

It would be impossible in real life.

Moreover, he is a weakling minor villain that’s not even a protagonist, so the amount of events just wasn’t proportional.

[Really? You are cool, Lanpeach, so maybe God has taken an interest in you. You have piqued the interest of me, a girl that’s as cute as a Goddess.] (Libra)

Lanpeach was praised by a cute girl with silver twin tails that you wouldn’t see in real life and was giddy about it.

(R-Really? I am happy even if it is flattery, my cute support.) (Lanpeach)

[Really? You must be happy since it is my true feelings, my cool Soldier.] (Libra)

Libra didn’t expect she would get such a response since she definitely wouldn’t speak out words of praise in normal circumstances, so she blushed a bit.

Libra was wriggling in shyness, making her shrine maiden clothes flutter, which could only be described as cute.

The two of them were dallying there which was a moment of peace, but God didn’t wish for such an infuriating scene.

The next action of Lanpeach would make him stand out like an innocent deer in the middle of a pack of wolves.

Lanpeach arrived at the counter without anything happening and pointed at the recommended weapon of the guild.

The guild sells weapons with assured quality by the enterprises.

There’s not much variety, but it serves as an advertisement for the companies, and it is a way to tell them to please buy weapons from their enterprise from here on.

“Hello. Can you sell me that DG5 Assault Rifle?” (Lanpeach)

Lanpeach ordered the top tier gun in this Explorer Guild where the lowest of explorers are in. It was gathering dust and had practically become a decoration at this point.

The old receptionist thought he was pointing at a different weapon for a moment. Or maybe he didn’t know the price of it.

That’s why he snorted at Lanpeach with a mocking face.

“Oi, that weapon costs 2,200,000 Ele, you know?”

“Yeah, and also 5 3rd model energy magazines. Also a Monotariurus Leather Armor please.” (Lanpeach)

But the old receptionist was flustered by how Lanpeach was calm and composed and was unfazed by him mocking him.

He unconsciously ended up staring at Lanpeach.

(Could it be that he was actually an intermediate explorer despite appearances? This is bad. I have to make sure not to anger him.)

It is a price that is easily affordable for intermediate explorers, and there’s a lot of short-tempered explorers.

A man working in a low-end Explorer Guild dying at the corner of a street at night would bother no one, so he got flustered here.

He has an not-so-cute wife and two cute children, so he couldn’t afford to die here.

“A-Alright. That’s 4,100,000 Ele in total. P-Please provide me with your explorer card. I will deduct the payment from your account.”

And so, the old man stuttered as he answered Lanpeach, slowly looking away from him.

“I…don’t have an account.” (Lanpeach)

“Ah? You don’t have an account? …Show me your explorer card.”

“Here.” (Lanpeach)

He looked at the card given to him promptly and his expression returned to a mocking one again.

“You…are a starless? You can create an account if you are a 1 Star… Good grief, giving me a fright here. So you really are a weakling like your appearance states. And so, coming here to window shop? Showing your resolve that you can one day obtain that weapon?”

The explorer card of Lanpeach didn’t have a single star.

He checked his social standing in the computer terminal just in case and he became an explorer 5 years ago. He hasn’t had any records of activity for the last 2 years.

The stars are decided by your contributions to the Explorer Guild.

The highest is 10 and the lowest is 0. With 1 star you can create an account even if you are from a questionable origin like the slums.

Also, you can obtain 1 Star by working properly for half a year. The explorers molding in this Explorer Guild have 1 Star.

In other words, he is a weakling who can’t even get 1 Star. A coward that gave up his path to becoming an explorer in the middle of it.

Now that he looked calmly at him, he only looked like a weakling. His face was sly and like that of a crook. He gives the impression that he just came to the Explorer Guild on a whim.

People like this guy show up every now and then.

They would think they can be reborn this time for sure, and would show themselves when they have dropped out and have no talent or will.

The set pattern is that those types of guys stop coming soon after.

And so, the old receptionist thought that he was also the same, but…

“Sorry, but I will be paying with cash. Spare me from finding it a hassle to count it. I have no account after all.” (Lanpeach)

He said this and placed wads of cash on the counter one after the other.

The old receptionist was dumbstruck and the hoodlums fell silent.

He carefreely placed those wads of cash, moreover, didn’t care at all about the surroundings.

The old receptionist was surprised by how he was treating such a large sum of money, but he gulped even more at how he was bringing it out from thin air.

(Isn’t that an I-Item Box?! Why does this guy have a magic tool that would cost a hundred million at the cheapest?! Moreover, he has no intention to hide it!)

He couldn’t understand at all.

He is uncaring even when dealing with a large sum of money, and has no intention of hiding something valuable like an Item Box.

He should be able to understand what kind of place this is since he could tell he was scared when entering the place even when he was trying to hide it.

Newbie hunting is commonplace. It is an environment where they immediately eat whoever looks weak and has money. It is a gathering of people that would attack you the moment you enter the Spirit Ward.

If he shows them something like this, it would be like a sheep lathering itself in honey and throwing itself into a pack of wolves.

He didn’t want to imagine a dirty man lathered in honey and thrown into a group of hoodlums, so he thought of them as animals instead.

He thought that maybe he is stupid, but he looked sly. His actions don’t match his appearance.

(He found the corpse of a high level explorer and stripped them of their gold and Item Box…? That’s the normal conclusion, but he is acting way too nonchalant for that. What a creepy guy… Let’s try not to get involved with him.)

It is not like the old receptionist has been working here for years without learning anything.

He has a high sense of danger, thought of the actions of Lanpeach as creepy, and decided to just deal with this like plain business.

“Got it. I will count it, so wait for a bit.”

The other receptionists felt something off and looked away nervously.

But Lanpeach wasn’t worried about it.

This is obvious, but you never show care when buying and selling stuff in any game. You could say it is in a sense a safe zone in a game.

They would buy the highest level weapon even in the beginner town, and even if you use billions of Ele, they wouldn’t be surprised or draw attention.

And so, he wouldn’t think of anything when piling up wads of cash or using Dimension Poach in front of others. It is a detriment of having a gamer brain.

But the reaction of the surroundings was naturally different.

They are men molding in such a low place.

The receptionist knew from his long years of experience that this guy is weird somewhere, so he took distance because there’s no need to poke the unknown, but the hoodlums were thinking the same thing the old receptionist thought at first.

In other words, he luckily found a dead high level explorer and obtained things of value.

And so, when Lanpeach stored the gun inside the Dimension Poach and changed his bulletproof vest for the Monotariurus Leather Armor, moved away from the counter, and was about to exit the place…

“Hey, wait a moment you.”

There were close to 20 people.

It is almost all the people that were making a ruckus in the lobby.

A number of them huddled up at the entrance so that he wouldn’t escape, and the remaining ones cracked their knuckles, and laughed mockingly at Lanpeach as if seeing him as a sucker.

For them, victory was assured.

If he runs outside, there’s the guards that protect order, but they won’t get involved as long as a gun or bladed weapons are not used indoors.

There are close to 20 people, and Lanpeach can’t use the gun that he just bought.

There’s no way for them to lose.

The only thing in their heads is how to divide the cash that they take away from him.

“Hey, you, where did you get that Item Box? It seems like a pal of mine dropped it just recently, you see. I doubt it is a coincidence that the same thing would show up here. Show it for a bit.”

“Item Box? That’s weird. An Item Box is a bracelet. There’s no way they would drop it. Did that guy drop their arm or something?” (Lanpeach)

An Item Box is impossible to transfer and can’t be dropped, so the gamer Lanpeach tilted his head in wonder.

He was a bit surprised that maybe you can drop an Item Box if your arm was dropped because of part damage.

“Wa, eh, ah, t-that’s right. He dropped his arm. So that’s how an Item Box works…”

A number of people looked at each other’s faces in admiration.

They knew about the existence of Item Boxes, but they had never seen one.

[They are idiots. I am sure they are just coming up with excuses to steal your money, Soldier.] (Libra)

Libra was baffled by the idiotic hoodlums who were talking about an Item Box they have never seen before having been dropped by a friend of theirs. It was so stupid she already had zero interest in this.

“What, so it was that. An event really did happen~. Well, damn.” (Lanpeach)

Lanpeach sighed at how he was a magnet for bad events.

They thought he was scared and the man at the front was about to threaten him, but…

“That’s right. Fork over that Item Bo—guheh!”

The fist of Lanpeach was nailed on his face.

He collapsed face first onto the floor.

They saw their comrade lying on the ground with his whites showing. The other hoodlums were dumbstruck by this for an instant, but immediately shouted.

“You bastard. Punching someone all of a su—buha!”

A mesmerizing kick wedged into the back of his head and fell over without being able to finish what he was going to say.

“Oh well, no other choice. Let’s just accept that this is how things are. I am a trivial minor villain though. Fine, bring it on. Let’s test out my level ups.” (Lanpeach)

Lanpeach cracked his neck and showed a bold smile.

There was no sign of him fearing the hoodlums like before, and what was there was the face of a merciless player that enjoys the game.

  1. It’s really been a long time, and I didn’t even know that since when isekailunatic changed to reigokaitranslations? Goong to follow your works again
    Best regards!

  2. Thanks for the ch.

New comment feels wonky lol. Hope there’s no trouble in the future.

Lanpeach takin everything as a game is already biting him in the arse. How long will it take for him to stop being delusional?

    1. Yeah, that’s the main reason why it was so hard to move back to wordpress. But it has erased one too many comments already.

It might take a while or need some pretty strong wake-up call for Lanpeach to not take this as a game. Cause he literally is coping with killing people and injuring others by using the logic that they are not real.

  3. not sure if it’s something you should check but
I was able to read on my work wifi before the tranistion to the new site
