The Explorer Guild is in the Surface District.

This guild provides support to the people that explore the vast world called the Spirit Ward that is outside the city and beyond the sphere of humanity.

They explore the Spirit Ward in order to collect spirit crystals from monsters which are energy matter that serves for the survival of humanity. It is also the zone where the monsters trying to destroy humanity live in.

The Spirit Ward is a world of fire, a world of ice. It warps space itself, becoming a maze where you wouldn’t have enough lives to bet.

But the reward for winning in that bet is big.

You can earn the yearly salary of a normal person from one victory, and if you are lucky, you could even obtain a fortune that you wouldn’t be able to spend in a lifetime, and irrefutable fame.

The ones who jump into that world are the daredevils called explorers.

There’s a number of guilds that assist those explorers in the Surface District, but there’s a place that is close to the Slum District that is used for the lowest of explorers.

The building is just an abandoned building that was modified a bit. There’s cracks, the fluorescent lights are flickering, and there’s some that are not even working.

There’s no bar, but there’s people who are sitting on the sofa with rusted springs poking out, drinking alcohol that they most likely brought from outside.

It has become a bar of ruffians, and the receptionist is an old man with an unkempt beard who doesn’t seem to be too enthused to work.

There were those who looked like criminals who were having drinks together with the explorers.
