[Not a Chapter]: Patreon and Trying to make translation my job?

Hey guys, Reigokai here! 

This is probably my first time dedicating an announcement solely for patreon. As you can see, I want to try to make translations my main job. Know why? Well, the world is messed up and I am out of a job, haha. 

What do I mean by this? I am thinking about placing a new Patreon tier. When you are in that tier, once a month, you can ask me to translate any chapter of any web novel you want for 35$. Want to revive a story that is now lost in the nether? Or simply want to know what happens next but can’t wait for who knows how long? Then, this might be right in your alley.

I will also be posting these chapters in my patreon so that other patreons no matter the tier can see them as well, while trying to hide everything aside from the name of the story and what chapter it is so that it doesn’t spoil anyone. Posting these chapters in the main website would be a mess and I do want to give something back to the patreons. Edit: The chapters will be exclusive for patreons for a week and then visible for everyone.

This tier will have a tentative limit of 10 and will take around 1-4 days to translate (or more depending on schedule) as I think that would be my limit while also keeping the same schedule as always in my own website.

With this, I want to test out if I can make translations my main job since I enjoy it so much more than any other job I would have. If that doesn’t work, don’t worry, I will still be continuing translations in the website as always, just that I will be back to searching for a job xDD.

I will see if it works for around 1 or 2 months. I will just take it as an unpaid vacation, haha. 

I am going in completely blind here and honestly taking a step out of my comfort zone, so if there’s any issues with this or any suggestions, please do comment about them below. I really do want to make translating my main job, but if it does not work, then I will simply return to the usual. 

This will by no means affect my current translations even if it does happen or not since I will simply be using the time I would have originally used in work anyways, so don’t worry about any of that. I might post about whether it works or not but that’s about it. 

To all the patreons that have been supporting me until now solely for my translations, I am truly grateful. You guys really were a great part in why I could continue doing this hobby of mine without being grilled by it!
