Tsuki – Chapter 340: Learning about how big the fish that was let go actually was

Finally there will be a big move towards the independence of Tsige.

I was thinking about wrapping up the problematic matters that were left in the Academy first.

After a talk with Shiki, we have once again decided the direction of the classes, and the new students have a sense of unity if we leave out their family circumstances.

The only one who I can match their name with their face is Yunker-kun as of now.

I can just remember them as I go.

What’s left is my promise with Seiren-san, and the matter with Shima-san, but I will go with Seiren-san first.

I will be troubling Izumo for a while more, but we assisted him quite a bit on his wedding business, so I want him to endure for a bit.Β 

Cause you know, he is really full of energy in a different sense from Daena.

He passes his school days as if saying he is enjoying life.

He is completely absorbed in magic construction as if it is the most natural thing, and he is now reading through a whole ton of books in the library about magic and architecture as of late.Β 

If Seiren-san’s specialty was related to architecture magic, I could have asked him for help without worrying as much.

The one most used in Rotsgard is the common chant.

There’s only a few select exemplar students who would touch upon the graph and noble chants.

Well, Izumo is one of those exemplar students.

That’s just how much students try to tiptoe their way out from the common chant.

Most of them would get weaker instead and return to common.

For people who have low affinity to magic power, and people who have low magic power, forming your spells with common chant would be best. The dam in her heart that was overflowing to the brim broke down grandly, and Izumo who was right below that damn was being rained down by questions. He was currently cornered to the point that his spirit has died.

  5. Part of me feels bad for Seiren in all this. I mean she is kinda materialistic towards Mokoto… though with all being considered how he looks in this world compared to other hyuman’s, it’s understandable she ran.

    I kinda hope she does get with Mokoto or atleast becomes a trusted ally that joins Asora. You can’t blame a above average beauty (especially in this world) for reeling the first time when Mokoto did try to slap her with money to get laid as a insult.

    I look forward to how their relationship develops from here… though I’m confused… Who is the forth in the group? Are they adding Iroha to that group?

  25. I heard some rumblings and rumors about an Anime adaptation for Tsuki. Looking back on this story though… I actually struggled to find a good end point for an anime adaptation especially early on. This story actually has weird beat/rhythm/flow though I struggle to explain it but it feels that way for me.

    1. I imagine some parts of the journey would have to be skipped in order to reach a comfortable end point, but Tsuki ga Michibiku is made with a bunch of down time moments that speak a lot about the character’s character.. It would be concerning just seeing an ark skip through the majority just to see the more exciting bits. Essentially since this story doesn’t have a huge focus on combat.

      If they adapted the majority of the writing then with 24 episodes the anime would probably end after the creation of the lake or after he meets Root to find out the truth behind the adventurer’s guild system. If it were in my dream, I’d adapt until the end of Kuzunoha’s Tour. The conversation between Makoto and Hibiki will be both a high point and a major topic for discussion even among the more critical folks. Although that would probably, if it ever happens, be adapted in a season 2 or movie.

      Realistically it has a higher chance of getting a 12 episode cour much like most LN series… Maybe more since it seems to be a decent seller even without an anime adaptation.

    2. Yeah… It has been while since it had meaning. As of late, it is like a filler made if the memoirs of Makoto while he was living.

      It changed a lot. Everytime I read it, I read with the hope of something exciting happening. But it never does. It is all small conflicts of one to two chapters at best. And even so, the conflicts are not conflicting at all…

  27. Every time Makoto’s language ability comes up I wonder how the hell it manages to convey information to him through words he doesn’t have an equivalent for. Like if someone uses philautia or agape to describe love does he still hear ‘love’ but automatically understand the subtext? If I say ‘subnet mask’ is he going to hear the words but not understand them, or is he going to automatically learn/know enough to get what those words mean.

    Seiren If you know who Raidou really is then the answer is a direct descendant of the High Nobles and High Priests of Elyshion who are close to the creation era of the goddess world. Lord Raidou was superior to existing kings and did not plunge into the madness of other nobles to take over the land of Elyshion which was destroyed by the Demon Race.
